Description
Adding a generator via the web interface in Sunny Island inverters once they have been comissioned.

Instructions
- Connect your smart device to the inverter WebUI (instructions can be found in the eManual).
- Login as an Installer using the password set during commissioning. If you do not know the password, contact SMA Service for a PUK.
- Navigate to Device Parameters, select Edit Parameters near the top left and then scroll down to AC Side.
- Navigate to Operation and for parameter External sources, select Generator.
- Navigate to the top of the page and select Save all to adopt the changes.
- Navigate to Generator and then navigate to the Generator section.
- Configure the desired generator settings.
- Automatic start - Select On for autostart generator, else select No for manual generator.
- Manual control - This can be used to test run the generator and is only applicable for autostart generators (default value is Automatic generator start).If you want to start the generator in the WebUI, select Start from the drop down menu and select Save all to start the generator. The opposite applies to stop the generator in the WebUI.
- Nominal current - How much current (per phase) you want to draw from the generator.
- Navigate to the top of the page and select Save all to adopt the changes.
